Situated On the northern border of Lafayette, Heron Lake Meadows is surrounded by nature’s beauty; a wildlife habitat, open space trails, farms and unparalleled views to the west of snowcapped rockies and famed 14teener Longs Peak and Mount Meeker.

 Heron Lake is a wildlife habitat and one can enjoy blue herons nesting in early July in Boulder County. The walking path gives one an opportunity to enjoy mother nature’s gift.

To the west is a 120 acre open space parcel. The farmer has created a conservation easement with Boulder County. (Conservation Easements are voluntary permanent agreements between landowner and Boulder County that legally restrict how land can be used. They are designed to protect agricultural land, wildlife habitat and scenic open space from development while keeping the ownership, management and use of the property private. )

To the south is a city trail situated along an irrigation ditch. The shaded trail accesses Heron Lake and nearby open space.

Lake Meadow Dr is less than a mile from 95th and Arapahoe. There are numerous restaurants to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Morning Glory is open for all 3 meals and serves organic food, has a great patio space. 95a serves lunch, dinner and has a wonderful bar area with tapas. Button Rock Bakery is a new business to enjoy. The west side of 95th Street has the Super Mini Walnut Café for breakfast, Reelfish Fish & Chips or Lunada’s for lunch and dinner. Atlas Valley Purveyors can provide a bottle of wine, some groceries or a great sandwich.

The YMCA Arapohoe branch is walking distance and offers a pool and ice rink. RTD stops abound on Arapahoe, getting to Boulder or Erie and Lafayette Old Town.

It is a 30 minute drive to DIA via the Northwest Parkway.

If you enjoy your quiet and privacy, look no further.  The dead end street means there is no thru traffic. There are 40 homes on spacious lots with a self-managed hoa. The farmland and open space create an oasis for those lucky enough to live in this neighborhood.
