Helping Colorado residents make smart decisions with a home purchase or sale gets Mary excited.

If you think all real estate agents are the same, it’s obvious you haven’t worked with Mary Ellis. As you review this material, you will begin to understand that all real estate agents are not alike. She says, “Over the years, we’ve built our business and reputation on doing the very best job for our clients in getting the highest price in the least amount of time and inconvenience to them. If there is anything my extensive years in the business has taught me it’s that there is no such thing as the “perfect” home. Every property--no matter how wonderful it may seem, will never have everything.”
Past clients highly recommend Mary Ellis as a truthful guide in Real Estate to help you make smart decisions; “I understand houses. Between owning, selling and managing homes I can help people see the big picture. What problem items might be critical, what is cosmetic and the in-between. That’s where experience becomes invaluable. You need someone who can help you understand the potential and true value of a property as well as spot ‘minor flaws’ that are actually ‘major headaches.’ You can’t judge a book by its cover or a house by its paint job. I also have a current list of good, affordable and dependable contactors for my clients. I consider myself a value added real estate expert. I am your real estate resource for the entire home ownership experience, not just when you buy or sell.”
Mary has lived in Boulder County for over three decades, so she is able to give you all the information you need to make an educated purchase of a home in the area or to accurately assess the sales potential of your current home. She fell in love with the Boulder area after moving from Tennessee to attend CU Boulder. After graduating, she and her husband chose to make this their home and have raised their children here.
When Mary says what matters to you matters to her, she means it. Her genuine warmth and friendly confidence ensure that you will feel comfortable from the moment you meet her. Mary enjoys working with a wide variety of people. As she puts it, "I can't think of a greater reward than helping people find their own version of the American Dream." I like to say I am in the business of change. Generally I work with people who are moving into a new phase of life….they are getting married or divorced, having babies or downsizing. Children might be moving out; perhaps a promotion happened or the family is being transferred. Being involved with people while helping them achieve a goal to move on to another chapter of their lives is very fulfilling. Mary regularly attends state and national Realtor meetings to enhance her education in real estate related topics. Her sincere concern in
helping her clients meet their goals and the always excellent service she provides have resulted in lasting friendships, repeat customers and personal referrals that make up most of her business
Buying or selling a home is one of the most important steps your family can take. Why trust those crucial decisions to chance? The time to choose a real estate professional is before you need one. That’s where Mary Ellis can help. She’s been one of Boulder County’s leading agents for many years. Helping families like yours isn’t just her job, it’s her commitment. Before you buy or sell your next home, don’t you owe it to yourself – and your family – to at least find out how her unique brand of personal service and extraordinary results can make a difference?
She acquired her Colorado Real Estate license in 1991 and has never looked back. To say that real estate sales in Boulder County is her natural calling would be an understatement, as it’s obvious she loves what she does for a living and where she does it.
“Real estate involves me in the most intimate details of people’s lives…their homes, their families, their money. Being involved with people while helping them to achieve the goal of moving on to another chapter of their lives is very fulfilling,” Mary said.
“My whole philosophy on business is that I want a client for life so I want to provide them with great customer service,” Mary explains. That philosophy underlies one of her most well-known advertising campaigns: the Mary Ellis truck.
The 15” moving truck which advertises her business, has provided invaluable moving assistance to hundreds of real estate clients and for various community-minded endeavors over the years since its inception. “I saw one at a conference and realized it was a great idea because when people buy and sell their homes, moving is so stressful. Clients use the truck free when moving and getting a house ready for a move. And because they’re my client for life, they can use the truck whenever they need it.”
It’s also been loaned out over the years for various community events and causes, including moving instruments for the Centaurus High School Drumline and props for the Centaurus After Prom event. In the wake of 2013’s catastrophic floods, the truck was used frequently by groups helping flood victims – to collect and store donated items, and to deliver donated furniture for resettled flood victims.
You see, Mary’s profession is a labor of love. Her passion is getting up each morning and helping people achieve their real estate dreams. If, as they say, a journey is only as pleasant as your traveling partners, then the road home will be an enjoyable and worry-free experience with Mary Ellis at the wheel.
Getting to know YOU during the selling and buying process is what she loves about being a Realtor.
