About Louisville Colorado

Seven miles east of Boulder, Louisville Colorado was originally a coal mining community.  Even though the mines have long been closed, the history is kept alive in this quaint community, which in recent years has ranked in the top 5 "best places to live in the U.S." in Money magazine's annual list of the 100 best places to live in the United States. In 2009 and 2011, the annual list ranked Louisville in the #1 spot. The real game changer about the Louisville community is its true small town feel.   From the summer concert series to the parades down Main Street, Louisville is worth a visit.
